The Dragon’s Milk has become the defacto som saa after dinner drink.

Ingredients
  • 40ml Appleton White Rum infused for one week with uncooked sticky rice
  • 15ml Kahlua
  • 25ml coconut cream
  • 25ml condensed milk
  • small pinch salt
  • black sesame seeds for garnish

Method
  1. Infuse your white rum with white sticky rice for one week. This adds a rice pudding aroma and adds to the mouthfeel if the final drink. Strain through cheesecloth
  2. Add the liquid ingredients and pinch of salt to a cocktail shaker. Top with ice.
  3. Shake hard and strain over fresh ice (at som saa we use jujube wood cups)
  4. Sprinkle black sesame seeds over the top to garnish
