The Negroni is a popular Italian cocktail, made of one part gin, one part vermouth rosso, and one part Campari, and garnished with orange peel. Considered an apéritif it is traditionally served before a meal, but is often enjoyed at any point in the evening. It's important to make it stirred, not shaken, and built over ice in an old fashioned or ‘rocks’ glass and garnished with a slice of orange.
