Who we are

The Barbary is an intimate 24 seat kitchen-bar in Neal’s Yard. Inspired by the romance of the fabled Barbary Coast of 16th Century Europe, a meal at The Barbary tells the story of trade and a sharing of flavours and recipes that took place along the coast from the Mediterranean to the Middle East – encapsulating the food of Moorish Spain, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Iran.
